We’re very excited to welcome winemaker Aaron Mercer from MERCER WINES back to Birch to share with us an encompassing selection of his new and favourite Mercer wines [and no doubt an insight to all that is happening in this exciting new family venture he has created].
The menu for this night have been designed to compliment the wine, and includes:
beef tartare with truffle aioli
all about cauliflower // soup, beet pickled, pancake, puree, tempura, carpaccio
beef dumpling, chilli with lemongrass, saffron + ginger broth
birch bisque // prawn, vongole, mussel, calamari, fish with jug of smokey bisque
sorbet
winter citrus tart, hazelnut + whisky snap
4+ COURSE BIRCH DESIGNED LUNCH + PREMIUM WINES + MEET THE WINEMAKERS // $210pp
T+C’s // tickets to all events are required to paid in full at the time of booking. Refunds can be provided for cancellations up to 8 days prior to the event time [minus a $35 per ticket admin and transfer fee per ticket]. No refunds can be issued for cancellations within 8 days of the event start time [this includes cancellations due to contracting Covid-19 or mandated isolation requirements, unfortunately due to the ordering requirements for these events we can not sustain costs incurred due to late cancellations for this reason, tickets can be transferred in this case to another person so as not wasted]. All dietary preferences are to be provided at the time of booking, please add these to booking notes at the check-out [the ability to cater to dietary preferences at the time of the events will not be possible]. Current covid conditions of entry will apply and/or otherwise outlined and required by Birch. Covid-related concerns will be monitored and decisions regarding safety communicated to participants, if required, in the lead-up to the events.
