CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY WITH THE BIRCH DADS

Celebrate Father’s Day with the ultimate family share menu that includes a share entree board, main course inspired by the good ol’ Sunday roast and hearty meats and a dessert platter to finish off.

When: Sunday 1st September 2019
Seating times: 11.30 or 2.30pm
(please note if you book for 11.30am you need to vacate by 2pm)
Cost: $65 per person [kids under 12 years menu available – please specify at booking if needed]

Family share menu:
Entrée: smoked pork hock with black pudding  and truffle pea velouté; roasted black tiger prawn, harvey bay scallop, garlic butter and herb crumble; and wagyu beef cheek, beetroot gel and  parisienne vegetables.

Main: pork belly, apple gel and honey carrot; confit of cornfed chicken maryland  and glazed eschalots; and roast fillet black angus beef with yorkshire pudding with sides of  pumpkin and marinated fetta, roast savoy cabbage with garlic scapes and roasted chateau potato.

Dessert: sticky date pudding, vanilla icecream and butterscotch sauce; baked corella pear, persian figs and spiced mascarpone; and iced dark choclate parfait with orange gel .

SPRING LAMB AND LATE HARVEST TRUFFLE DINNER

Our Spring lamb and truffle dinner is happening at the unique time where truffles can still be harvested [cause it’s chilly] and it’s prime spring lamb season [cause sheep don’t get as confused as plants].

A dinner event to highlight the inter-seasonal delights of the region…
Course 1: birch cured lamb with black truffle aloe and pickled heirloom tomatoes
Course 2: braised redleaf spring lamb leg ravioli with lamb consommé, seasonal vegetables and shaved black truffle
Course 3: confit redleaf lamb shoulder, parsley purée, gremolata with black truffle and jus
Course 4: spring lamb loin, truffle mash, parisienne vegetables and red wine jus
Course 5: pre-dessert
Course 6: truffled honey ice-cream with hazelnut ganache, chocolate sauce with truffle crumble

Menu: 6 course degustation

SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL

Once again Birch will have it’s food stall at the Southern Highlands Food & Wine Festival. After last year’s cracker event, we are excited to bringing Birch to this event once again.

When: Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019 (Long Weekend)
Time: 10am–6pm each day

There are several ways you can choose to celebrate the festive season at Birch.

Whether it is a work party, family get-together or friends celebrating Christmas, there are various dining options you can choose from including traditional Christmas-inspired menus through to signature Birch dining experience. Packages start from $55 per person.

If dining a little more exclusively is your style, we are pleased to accommodate fully exclusive festive events. You can select from the packages outlined or speak with us and design a more tailored event (exclusive events are subject to a minimum spend).

CELEBRATE NEW YEARS EVE AT BIRCH

Definitely an evening designed for the food-loving guest, a great night for groups and couples. Based on the popularity of our last two New Years Eve events, we suggest be quick to book to avoid disappointment.
