BACK-TO-SCHOOL WEEK

This week school returns and we have adjusted trading days and times to best suit getting back into the swing of things.

As a special Sunday dinner offer we are featuring kids meals for $5 each and a two course option for $45 per person that includes a Birch Roast and trio of dessert tastes [our usual lunch and dinner menus will be available all weekend also]

Due to popular demand, our seasonal dinner series is back for Summer!
Held over three Friday nights in a row in the heart of Summer, we are pleased to announce our collaborating partners this year will certainly tease the tastebuds as much as our share menus will, add in live music and these become irresistible!

Each dinner will be three courses of share platters with menus created for each dinner by the super talented Birch crew and featuring peak seasonal produce. Each course will be paired to one beverage from our collaborating partner [extra beverages available to purchase on the night], plus live music. We will be hosting these dinners in the courtyard and restaurant areas [pending weather of course].

Cost: $90 per person per dinner [includes three courses + paired beverage]
**Special offer: attend all three dinners and receive $10 per person off [saving $30 per person]

SOUTH COAST DISTILLERY
// SUMMER COURTYARD [SPIRITS] DINNER SERIES

The South Coast Distillery Crew will be crafting bespoke cocktails from their premium range of spirits, as well as providing a little sneak taste of some ‘yet-to-be-released’ products.

When: 6.30pm, Friday 31st January 2020
Cost: $90 per person // includes 3 share courses and matching beverage per course

Menu:
Entrée: gin cured ocean trout; saffron escabeche scallop with pickled vegetables; gremolata crumbed camembert with lavosh.
Main: hay-baked chicken with lemon; parmesan and corn gnocchi with burnt sage butter; pork belly with celeriac puree and fennel salad.
Dessert: birch tiramisu; white chocolate, irish cream and kailua bombé; summer berry pudding.

EDEN BREWERY

Join head brewer from Eden Brewery, Jacob, for a dinner that will showcase the best options fresh from the brewery.

When: 6.30pm, Friday 21st February 2020 [**note date change**]
Cost: $90 per person // includes 3 share courses and matching beverage per course

Menu:
Entrée: rosemary skewered BBQ prawns with avocado salsa and tomato hollandaise; bee mead syrup glazed snapper with charred cucumber and chilli aioli; steamed mussels with garlic baguette.
Main: confit pork with pickled mango and papaya salad; t-bone with garlic and herbs sautéed kipflers; hay-smoked lamb with beans.
Dessert: iced black cherry and chocolate pudding; white chocolate, raspberry and almond parfait; jaffa mousse cake with orange molasses and caramelised segments.

JOADJA DISTILLERY
// SUMMER COURTYARD [WHISKY] DINNER SERIES
[proudly supported by D-Still]

Head distiller, Val, will join guests and will be offering two ‘work in progress’ tastes of the Joadja Single Malt Whisky and their lighter whisky made from home grown barley (both of these won’t be released until after this dinner) plus some other treats from the distillery.

When: 6.30pm, Friday 7th February 2020
Cost: $90 per person // includes 3 share courses and matching beverage per course

Menu:
Entrée: beef carpaccio with truffle aoili; pork belly with smoked apple; scallop with finger lime and raspberry salsa.
Main: oxtail wrapped in beef fillet with confit eschalot and fondant potato; slow braised lamb shoulder wrapped in birch cured lamb rump with cucumber and mint salad; orange confit duck wellington with gremolata potato puree.
Dessert: lamingtons with arneis ice-cream; cannoli with malt whisky custard; grape, fig and marinated in pedro ximenez syrup with blue cheese mousse.

VALENTINE’S DAY DINNER AT BIRCH

We love a good ol’ date night and Valentine’s Day Dinner is always a fun night. This year we are featuring a 5 course degustation [this actually times in with our new Autumn months menu launch and will be a little highlight of the new season’s degustation menu…so certainly one for the foodie].

When: Friday 14th February 2020 [6pm or 7.30pm tables available]
